Whole Wheat Bagels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. yeast
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. honey
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    2 qt. water
Preparation
    Sprinkle yeast over warm water.
    Stir in honey, salt and 1 1/4 cups flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Stir in remaining flour.
    Knead for 10 minutes on floured surface.
    Cover.
    Let raise until double, about 15 minutes.
    Punch down and divide into 8 equal portions.
    Shape each piece into a smooth ball; punch hole into center and pull gently to enlarge hole and make uniform shape. Let raise 20 minutes.
