Scallops Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. fresh scallops
1/4 c. butter or oleo
2 medium green peppers
2 medium onions, diced
1 c. sharp grated Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. soft bread crumbs
4 stalks celery, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
2 c. light cream
Preparation

Rinse scallops in cold water. Cook scallops in water, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
Drain. Saute onion, green pepper and celery in butter until tender. Combine sauteed mix, scallops, bread crumbs and pepper.
Place in an 8 x 8-inch pan or casserole dish. Pour cream over all. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Remove foil.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake 10 minutes longer.
