Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    2 c. nuts
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. oleo
    2/3 c. dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, oleo and syrup.
    Stir over heat until it boils. When it boils, cook 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda.
    Pour over corn.
    Bake in oven for 1 hour at 250\u00b0, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Store in tight container.
