French Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium size potatoes
    3/4 c. hot milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. minced onion (if desired)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling, salted water 25 to 30 minutes. Drain and mash.
    Add milk, butter, seasonings and baking powder. Beat until fluffy.
    Add onion.
    Serves 6 to 8.
