Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. flour
    2 beaten eggs
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter; add sugar gradually and cream until light. Stir in beaten eggs.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
    Stir in vanilla. Chill the dough for several hours.
    Roll out 1/3-inch thick on a floured surface.
    Cut with a floured cutter.
    Fry in deep fat (375\u00b0) until golden brown.
    Turn.
    Drain on a paper towel.
    Cover with cinnamon or powdered sugar.
