Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (10 oz.) can beer (room temperature)
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
    additional butter for top (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix ingredients.
    Pour into well-greased 9 x 5-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Pour additional butter on top and bake for 15 more minutes to brown. Serve warm or cool.
    Yield:
    1 loaf.
