Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium tart cooking apples, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. cooking oats
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Spread apples evenly in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Place butter in a small glass mixing bowl.
    Microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until softened.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix until crumbly, then sprinkle over apples.
    Microwave on High for 10 to 12 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
