Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream butter until soft.
    Gradually add sugar until fluffy. Gradually mix in flour.
    Mixture will be crumbly.
    Press mixture into two 9-inch glass pie pans.
    Score into wedges and pierce with fork.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Cut wedges.
    Cool on rack.
    Makes 16 wedges.
