Strawberry Fluff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. frozen sweetened strawberries
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. water
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
2/3 c. evaporated milk, chilled icy cold
Preparation

Thaw strawberries.
Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
Stir in food coloring.
Put lemon juice and water in a custard cup and sprinkle gelatin over top.
Let sit about 5 minutes to soften. Place custard cup in a small saucepan, surround with a small amount of water and then heat over low heat until gelatin is dissolved.
Blend gelatin into strawberries.
Chill until mixture begins to thicken, then whip the chilled evaporated milk until it is stiff and will hold a peak.
Fold in gelatin mixture lightly but thoroughly.
If necessary, chill until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon.
Pile lightly into 4 cups.
Chill until set.
