Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
    1 (12 oz.) butterscotch bits
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and set aside.
    In large bowl, beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until creamy.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture.
    Stir in oats, chips and nuts.
    Drop by measuring tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 4 dozen.
