Festive Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Pare cucumbers and cut lengthwise in very thick slices.
    Wipe them dry with a cloth.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper and dredge with flour.
    Fry in pan greased with about 1 tablespoon each of lard and butter.
    Brown both sides and serve warm.
