Deep Dish Cheddar Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
2 c. cooked rice
2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
Preparation

Saute onion in 1/4 cup margarine.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly,
until thickened.
Add chicken, cheese (2 cups), rice and broccoli.
Mix well.
Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Add remaining 1 cup of cheese on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
