Mamie'S Squash Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans yellow squash, drained
    4 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 large carrot, grated
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small bag Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
    butter
Preparation
    Drain
    squash; stir in onion, soup, sour cream, carrot, cheese,
    salt
    and
    pepper.
    Sprinkle layer of stuffing mix in buttered
    casserole.
    Add
    squash mixture; cover with layer of stuffing
    mix.
    Dot generously with butter.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
