Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fine bread crumbs
    1 c. milk
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    3 c. hot water
    1 c. milk
    1 c. half and half cream
Preparation
    Soften bread crumbs in milk.
    Add beef, onions, eggs and seasoning.
    Brown in butter.
    Remove meat balls.
    Stir in flour. Blend well.
    Dissolve cubes in hot water.
    Add to flour.
    Add milk and cream.
    Cook.
    Stir constantly until smooth (3 minutes).
    Add meat balls.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes until sauce is desired consistency.
    Makes 96 (1-inch) meat balls.
