Pineapple Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 small can crushed pineapple (heavy syrup, add whole can)
    1 large orange jello
    2 c. cool water
    1/2 c. (3 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. Velveeta cheese
    9 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook sugar, crushed pineapple and jello in pan until dissolved.
    Add 2 cups cool water.
    Set until about half set and add cream cheese and Velveeta cheese.
    Stir and then fold Cool Whip into it and let set several hours.
