Tomato Soup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    3/4 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cloves
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    Cream Cheese Frosting (following)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well; add beaten whole egg.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with the soup.
    Add chopped nuts and dates, which have been floured lightly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool and frost.
