Mom'S Fudge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 oz. baking chocolate
1 c. boiling water
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sour cream or milk made sour *
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Stir together first 3 ingredients and cool.
Sift together soda, salt, sugar and flour three times.
Add dry ingredients to chocolate mixture.
Stir until smooth.
Add eggs, sour milk and vanilla to chocolate mixture.
Stir well but don't overbeat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or two 8-inch round pans.
Frost with Peanut Butter Fudge Frosting.
