Sweet Chunk Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 medium cucumbers
8 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. pickle spice mix
5 tsp. salt
4 c. vinegar
Preparation
-
Wash cucumbers and place whole cucumbers in crock.
Cover with boiling water and let stand overnight.
Drain and repeat this procedure on the next 3 mornings.
On the fifth day, drain and slice into 1/2-inch chunks.
