Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

1 (# 2) can crushed pineapple (2 1/2 c.)
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 baked pie crust
Preparation

Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt, together, set aside. In a medium sauce pan heat the pineapple then add the sugar mixture all at once while stirring briskly.
Cook until thick and clear.
Beat egg yolks in a bowl, stir a little of the hot mixture into them; return to the pan and cook 1 minute stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in oleo and lemon juice.
