Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) tomato paste
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. olives, sliced
    1 pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked
Preparation
    Brown meat in olive oil. Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is transparent. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, basil, oregano, pepper and bay leaf.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour. Stir in olives.
    Spread 1/4 of sauce in baking dish. Cover with layer of cooked lasagna, arranging strips lengthwise in baking dish. Add layer of Mozzarella cheese, then a layer of Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with sliced ripe olives. Continue layering. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
