Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
    1 c. sour cream
    2 to 3 c. cooked rice or noodles
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 clove garlic, chopped or 1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Cook and stir hamburger and onion in butter in 10-inch skillet. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
    Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
    Stir in soup.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through.
    Serve over hot noodles or rice.
