Mrs. Florence Hooks' Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. meal
    1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
    1 c. milk
    2 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine (melt in container used to cook bread)
Preparation
    Scald meal with boiling water, add salt.
    Cool.
    Add eggs, milk and melted butter or margarine.
    Bake in buttered pan (square about 9 x 9-inch) at 450\u00b0 until browned (about 30 minutes).
    Good warmed over.
    Can be frozen.
