Black-Eyed Pea Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 slightly beaten eggs
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    3/4 c. whole kernel corn, drained
    1 lb. ground beef or sausage, browned
    1 c. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 c. cooked black-eyed peas, drained
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients, except black-eyed peas and grated cheese.
    Add the black-eyed peas and grated cheese and pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
