Catfish House Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 gal. green tomatoes, cut up
1/2 pt. hot peppers, cut up (you may substitute a mixture of banana peppers or bell peppers for hot peppers)
1 pt. white vinegar
1/4 c. salt
1 qt. onions, cut up
3 c. sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Bring to a boil or boil until tomatoes are light green.
Do not continue to boil.
Gently stir a couple of times and seal in hot jars.
