Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. instant potato flakes or granules
2 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. oleo or butter
1/2 c. all purpose flour
3 c. milk
3 large baked potatoes with skin, diced
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
5 Tbsp. chopped chives
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
salt to taste
Preparation

Combine potato flakes with chicken broth.
Melt oleo in saucepan; add flour and cook, stirring until flour is lightly browned.
Slowly stir in milk; keep stirring to make medium white sauce.
Add potato broth mixture and diced potatoes.
Add garlic powder, peppers, chives, parsley and salt.
Lop each serving with grated American cheese and bacon bits.
