Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
4 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
3 1/4 Tbsp. hot water
1 1/2 c. grated carrot
2 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1 1/2 c. English walnuts
Preparation

Mix together first five ingredients on low speed.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to first mixture.
Alternately add chopped nuts and fold in stiff beaten egg whites.
Bake until done in a tube pan at 300\u00b0, about 2 hours.
