Penuche Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. milk
    2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a medium saucepan and stir in brown sugar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir over low heat 2 minutes.
    Stir in milk and heat to boiling.
    Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
    Gradually stir in confectioners sugar. Place the pan in a bowl of ice water.
    Beat the frosting until smooth and of spreading consistency.
