Butter Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

11 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1 c. scalded milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Beat egg yolks and sugar until fluffy; add scalded milk and vanilla, beating constantly.
Add flour and baking powder. Fold in melted butter or margarine.
Batter will be very thin. Pour into 3 (9-inch) well-greased
layer
pans.
Bake
at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Ice cake with your favorite frosting.
