Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water; stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Add syrup.
    Cover saucepan and cook until syrup begins to boil. Remove top and cook, without stirring, to 255\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and pour in a fine stream over egg whites, beating constantly. Continue beating until mixture holds shape and loses its gloss. Add vanilla and nuts.
    Drop quickly from tip of spoon onto waxed paper in individual peaks.
    Makes 30 pieces.
