Basic Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 lb. tomatoes, peeled and quartered
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Combine everything together.
    Then simmer uncovered for 2 hours.
    Just before
    done, add tomato paste to thicken.
    Put in jars while hot and seal.
