Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. Carnation milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup milk.
    Beat slightly.
    Add remaining 1/2 cup milk, last 2 cups flour, baking powder and extracts.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Put into cold oven and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
