Cheese Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    14 oz. sharp cheese, grated (3 1/2 c.)
    dash of Tabasco or paprika
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 box whole dates
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Have cheese and margarine at room temperature; blend well. Mix in seasonings well and cut in flour (best by hand).
    Chill dough.
    Stuff a date with a pecan half and form cheese dough around each date.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
