Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. syrup
1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nuts (optional)
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
-
Dip bread into eggs and milk.
Put on a hot pan on stove until brown.
Put syrup and cinnamon and powdered sugar on top.
Eat!
