Chicken Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut in strips, poached and drained
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    4 oz. onion, chopped
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. chicken base
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
    black pepper to taste
    1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. nonfat yogurt
Preparation
    Melt margarine in skillet.
    Add onion and mushrooms and saute until tender.
    Add 1 cup water, chicken base, pepper and sherry, then simmer.
    Blend cornstarch and water until smooth.
    Add to sauce while stirring and cook until thickened.
    Turn off heat. Stir in yogurt and chicken strips.
    Serve over rice or noodles. Makes 4 servings.
