Speedy Rolls(Makes 36) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/2 c. sifted flour (Royal Patent flour)
    2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 cakes yeast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Place water, sugar and yeast in bowl to dissolve.
    Add salt and 2 cups of flour.
    Beat with mixer for 2 minutes.
    Add egg and melted shortening.
    Beat for 1 minute.
    Gradually add 4 1/2 cups flour, stirring until dough is formed.
    Allow dough to rest for 20 minutes, for each of handling.
