Angel Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 envelope Dream Whip
    2 Tbsp. nuts
Preparation
    Heat pineapple, sugar and water to boiling point.
    Add cornstarch that has been dissolved in a little water.
    Cook until thickened.
    Add salt.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites until firm.
    Fold into pineapple mixture.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with Dream Whip and nuts.
