Orange Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) orange jello
    1/2 c. sharp grated cheese
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. frozen whip topping
Preparation
    Bring pineapple, sugar and water to boil.
    Dissolve jello into the hot mixture.
    Cool in refrigerator until it is the consistency of egg whites.
    Add cheese and nuts.
    Fold in the Cool Whip.
    Pour into bowl or mold; refrigerate until set.
