Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 gal. chopped cabbage (3 large heads)
    1 gal. ground green tomatoes (2 gal. whole)
    1 qt. ground onions (1/2 gal. whole)
    1 c. salt
    2 tsp. black pepper
    3 tsp. ground mustard
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tea cup mustard seed
    1 tea cup sugar
    5 pt. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix all together; boil 20 minutes.
    Seal while hot.
