Coconut Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. oleo or butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Place apple slices in shallow 1-quart dish.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon and walnuts.
Cream butter and 1/3 cup sugar; add egg, vanilla and coconut.
Mix thoroughly.
Stir in flour gently.
Spread batter evenly over apple mixture.
Bake 35 minutes or until crust top is crisp and golden.
Serves 6 to 8.
