Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. Crisco
7 sliced tart apples
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
4 or 5 Tbsp. milk
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
Preparation

Sift together 2 cups flour and salt; cut in Crisco.
Add the milk gradually, just until dry mixture is moistened.
Form into a ball.
Divide in half and roll out to fit a 9-inch pie pan.
Peel the apples.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together.
Cut in butter with remaining flour and sugar, making fine crumbs.
Fill pastry-lined pie pan alternately with sliced apples and cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Cover with crumbs.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until apples are soft.
