Baked Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 cooked breast of chicken
    8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
    1 jar diced pimento (smallest)
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. French fried onions
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except grated cheese and onions. Place in a buttered casserole dish.
    Top with cheese and French fried onions.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Yield: 6 servings.
