Fudge Walnut Ripple Layer Cake - cooking recipe

1 2/3 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Fudgy Frosting
3/4 to 1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Preheat
oven
to 350\u00b0.
In a large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar,
cocoa, baking soda, salt, buttermilk, shortening,\t2 eggs
and
2
teaspoons vanilla extract.
Beat on low speed until blended, scraping bowl constantly.\tBeat 3 minutes on
high speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
Pour into 2 paper lined, greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
