Cut-It-Short Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines pudding recipe devil's food cake mix
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
    Mix and bake cake as directed on package in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Split cake into 3 layers.
    Spread 1/3 of whipped topping and 1/3 of pie filling between each layer and on top.
    Chill until set.
