Pecan Butter Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy.
    Gradually mix in flour.
    Stir in salt, vanilla and pecans.
    Using a level tablespoon of dough, shape into 2-inch long fingers.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 or 20 minutes or until light brown.
    Remove from oven and cool completely.
