Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (2 lb.) chickens, halved
    3/4 c. sherry wine
    3/4 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 c. tomato ketchup
    1 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. liquid pepper sauce
    1 oz. fresh chopped ginger
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh garlic
Preparation
    Combine sherry, soy sauce, oil, ketchup, pepper, pepper sauce, ginger and garlic and mix thoroughly for marinade.
    Pour marinade over chicken halves and let marinate overnight.
    Cook on open grill or in the oven until fork-tender.
