Ingredients

1 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cream the softened butter with brown sugar and add molasses. Mix dry ingredients and add to the butter/sugar mixture with water to form a soft ball.
