Lane Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 egg whites, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. butter
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until light.
    Mix milk, flour, beaten egg whites and vanilla. Fold into butter mix.
    Bake in 4 layers at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
