Strawberries Romanoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. strawberries, washed and hulled
sugar to taste (1/2 to 1 c.)
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
4 Tbsp. Cointreau or other orange-flavored liqueur
whole strawberries for garnish
powdered sugar
Preparation

Toss strawberries with sugar and set aside.
Slightly whip the ice cream.
Fold in the heavy cream and Cointreau.
Fold in the strawberries and serve in dessert dishes.
Garnish each dish with a whole, fresh strawberry and sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar.
Serve immediately.
