Salmon Fritters - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. corn meal
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
1 (1 lb.) can (2 c.) red salmon, drained
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in corn meal.
Combine egg and milk; stir into dry ingredients until just combined.
Break salmon into bite size pieces and fold into batter.
Drop by rounded tablespoons into deep hot fat (375\u00b0). Fry until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
Drain on paper towels. Serve with creamed English peas.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
