Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, shredded
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. carrot, shredded
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

In a large bowl combine cabbage, pepper, carrot, onion and 1 teaspoon salt.
Let stand 1 hour.
Drain.
Bring remaining ingredients to a boil; simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
Cool, pour over cabbage mixture.
Pack in freezer containers; freeze.
Yields about 4 pints.
